Osborne Company, a General Contractor based in Eden, NC, has started an environmental project for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Charleston District.
The work is located at Joint Base Charleston (JBC) in North, SC for NAAF, and includes repair and restoration of the existing stormwater collection features through the use of cast-in-place inlets, buried drainage pipes, and armoring with stone rip rap of a size and gradation to prevent future erosion and downstream silt transport, and
construction of vehicle access across the ditch capable of supporting HS20 wheel loads and incidental related work.
