Description
Southern States is a Richmond, Virginia-based farm supply and service cooperative, and was founded in 1923. As one of the nation's largest agricultural cooperatives, it provides a wide range of farm and home products. Southern States serves its members and non-member customers through 1,200 retail outlets in 23 states.
Located in Rock Hill, SC, this is one of the newest Southern States retail outlets. This new construction project for Southern States was contracted and completed by Osborne Company, and Ricky Compton and Charlie Murphy served as Project Superintendent and Project Manager respectively.
The 20,000 square foot retail store was constructed using conventional steel, with masonry load bearing walls.
